We are looking for a “Cloud Engineer with a specialization in open-source IoT systems” for Brussels

Description

·         Implement CI/CD frameworks and align tools for deployment in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

·         Manage application connectivity with messaging brokers like MQTT, REST, and AMQP.

·         Utilize DevOps tools on Jenkins, diagnose software and networking issues.

·         Conduct proof of concepts to evaluate technologies and improve processes.

·         Participate in the development roadmap.

·         Ensure smooth operation and regular maintenance of open-source IoT systems and applications using CI/CD practices.

·         Set up monitoring tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability.

Skills

·         Experience in AKS deployment using Helm charts and messaging protocols (MQTT, REST, AMQP).

·         Experience in cloud computing environments, particularly Azure, and backend development using Java.

·         Experience with Docker, Azure Cloud services (like AKS, Log Analytics, Azure container registry), and ideally Hono & Ditto product experience.

·         Experience with Java JVM (Maven), JavaScript, microservices, and scripting (Curl, Python, Bash).

·         Experience with IoT architecture, protocols, and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).

·         Experience with Database management skills with SQL and NoSQL databases.

·         Experience with IoT security practices and standards.
